Where Do You Find Products to Sell?
Many companies (especially big named companies) have available an affiliate program (usually a link is located on the bottom of their home page). Those companies will pay high commission for selling their products. Just a few big named companies that you can do this with is:

Affiliate Networks: The products that you would sell or promote can be found on Affiliate Networks. They have thousands of products to chose from, all of which are listed in categories and subcategories. The products are nearly all dowloadable products, therefore they offer the highest commission. (Up to 75% of the product cost is your commission or what you earn for each sale)

How does this all work?
When you sign up to promote a product, you will get a special link that has your tracking code built into it. When someone buys the product through your special link (your affiliate link) you will be recognized as the affiliate and earn the commission for that sale. An Affiliate Link is the link that is created for you by your affiliate network that tracks your sales. You post that link on your landing page and when customers purchase the product through your link, you make money. |
#1 Job as an Affiliate
The #1 job as an affiliate is to drive traffic to your affiliate links. This is the most difficult part of Affiliate Marketing. Ranking high in the Google search engine is what s tough. This is the main part of the learning curve that you hear about. Once you have pass through the learning curve it becomes so simple.

Methods to Drive Customers to Your Affiliate Links
There are many methods to drive traffic to your affiliate links. Just find a couple of methods that work best for you and master them. If you do this you can become a very successful affiliate marketer. |

A method known as PPC (Pay Per Click) or the Google Cash is a method where you advertise your affiliate links on Google. When someone searches for something, your ad will show up. So when someone clicks on your ad, they click on your affiliate link. Thus, earning you a lot of commission. The Google Cash Method was developed by a man named, Chris Carpenter, who earns $33,000 a month by using this method. The best part is that he does not own a website. |
Another method I use is when you use landing pages. A landing page is just another word for any web page that has your affiliate link in it or it can be the products page itself. But it is more beneficial for the customer and you to make your own landing page. Examples of landing pages are like blogs, websites, articles etc. You place your affiliate link right in and when someone is interested in the product, they will click on your link and is brought to the product page.
The purpose of landing pages is to talk more about the product and provide the customer with more information. This way they will know more about the product and are more likely to click on your affiliate link and potentially buy the product, earning you more commission.

Before you make your decision
You may be thinking that this is going to be easy, and you are right. Affiliate Marketing is the easiest business opportunity for anyone who wants to work at home and online.
But there is a learning curve. Once you get past the learning curve, everything becomes second nature and is incredibly easy. A lot of affiliate marketers turn out to only work and hour or tow a day, if that.
